FM Macinka: What is important now is calming situation in Venezuela and diplomacy
The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs now considers it important to calm the situation in Venezuela and to conduct diplomatic negotiations, including with the local opposition. This was stated by the head of Czech diplomacy, Petr Macinka (Motorists), in a statement sent to ČTK. Today, the United States carried out extensive air strikes in this South American country, detained its authoritarian president Nicolás Maduro, and removed him from Venezuela. Macinka identified the safety of Czech citizens as the top priority of his office.
