FM Lipavský: Czechia supports aid to Gaza, warns against abuse by Hamas

Czechia supports the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said in Brussels on Tuesday. However, he said it is necessary to ensure that it does not fall into the hands of the Palestinian terrorist movement Hamas.

"We certainly support humanitarian aid to Gaza, we certainly support the steps that Israel has now taken. I think this is the right step," Minister Lipavský told Czech journalists in Brussels. According to him, last year alone, Czechia provided humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip amounting of 20 million crowns through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, primarily food aid.
