First Euros on way to Czech Republic

All the European Union country's in the Eurozone are planning to do away with their own currencies and introduce the new currency the Euro on January 1st. The Czech Republic is of course not yet in the EU and is sticking with the Czech crown - however the first Euro reserves are about to arrive at Czech banks. One official at the Bank Association for European Integration said the transports of Euros were nothing for thieves to get too excited about and that he did not fear attacks on the transports, as has happened elsewhere in Europe. Forgery of the new currency is a bigger worry, he said.
