Fire at Veolia power plant following explosion

Fifteen fire units were called to deal with a fire following an explosion at the Veolia Energie power plant in Kolín on Monday. The explosion shattered windows and damaged the roof of the building. No one is reported to have been injured. However, the surrounding area quickly filled with dense black smoke and the authorities have asked local inhabitants to keep their windows closed.
