Fiala: Opposition behaviour in debate will help govt. parties in elections

Prime Minister Petr Fiala says the behaviour of the opposition parties during a no-confidence debate will benefit the parties in government in Senate and municipal elections in three weeks’ time.

Mr. Fiala said the opposition had displayed incompetence, hatred, lies and malice during the session and that this had been visible to all citizens, thanking them for this “favour”.

Opposition leader Andrej Babiš of ANO attacked the government during lengthy remarks during the debate and also made comments about one minister’s private life.
