Fiala meets with Polish and Italian PMs before EU summit

Ahead of the European Council summit on Thursday, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala met with the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) parliamentary group, which includes Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and new Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. Their discussion was focused on Russia's war in Ukraine and energy issues.

Mr. Fiala, along with other EU leaders, arrived in Brussels on Thursday morning for the European Council meeting, where the issues on the agenda include Russia's war in Ukraine, energy and the economy, and security and defence.
