Fiala government confidence vote goes into second day

A debate surrounding a vote of confidence in the five-party coalition government of Prime Minister Petr Fiala carried on all through Wednesday night. After 22 hours, including for a break, the session was adjourned on Thursday morning and will resume at 6 pm.

The government has 108 mandates in the 200-seat Chamber of Deputies, which makes the outcome of the vote a foregone conclusion.
