Fiala: Czechia and Poland have renewed cooperation on Stork II pipeline
Czechia and Poland have renewed cooperation on preparing the Stork II gas pipeline, which would connect both countries, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said on Tuesday.
The new gas pipeline, which runs through the Polish village Stare Koźle to Libhošť in Czechia’s Moravian-Silesian Region, should enable a greater diversity in gas deliveries to Europe.
Mr Fiala spoke at the Economic Forum in Karpacz, Poland, where he also received the “Person of the Year” award. The Czech prime minister said that it was a great honour for him, highlighting that the award had also been given to Lech Walesa, Václav Havel and John Paul II.
