Festival of Czech film opens in Israel

A festival of Czech cinema gets underway in Israel on Saturday. Entitled Czech Film Week, the event, organised by the Czech Centre in Tel Aviv, is bringing six works to five cities: Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Herzeliya and Holon.

The festival opens with Charlatan, the story of a communist-era faith healer directed by Agnieszka Holland, and also includes Droneman by Petr Zelenka, which was partly shot in Israel.
