Festival 4+4 Days in Motion opens in Prague with Swiss multimedia performance

The 31st edition of the contemporary arts festival 4+4 Days in Motion opens in Prague on Saturday with a multimedia performance by Swiss artist Sarah Hugentobler. Running until November 14, it features theatre, dance and performance at the Galaxie cultural centre and Vzlet venue.

Highlights include a work by Japanese deaf performer Shisato Minamimura about deaf survivors of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings, and a performance by Palestinian artist Marah Haj Husseyn exploring identity, migration and life under occupation.
