Famous Russian Army Alexandrov Ensemble ticket sales for Czech tour suspended

The organisers of the Russian Army signing and dancing  Alexandrov Ensemble have suspended ticket sales for the ensembles planned 2022 Czech tour, the Czech News Agency reported on Wednesday. The group was supposed to perform in Karlovy Vary and Prague.

Speaking for the organisers, Renata Štupáková told the Czech News Agency that politics should not be mixed into culture, but, given the situation in Ukraine, it is impossible not to act otherwise.
