Famous Czech dubbing actor Stanislav Fišer dies aged 90

After a long illness, Czech actor Stanislav Fišer, who was known for dubbing several iconic film characters such as Vinnetou and Asterix, has died at the age of 90, the Czech News Agency reported on Saturday citing the Prague City Theaters organization.

Stanislav Fišer worked in several leading Czech theaters during his life. From the mid-1950s to the 1990s he was also frequently cast in film and TV series, often playing villains and comic characters. He was also well known for dubbing many characters in foreign films that were screened in the Czech Republic.
