Fall in tax revenues in first quarter

In the first quarter of this year, tax revenues fell by 15 percent year-on-year, by 38.6 billion, to 219.2 billion crowns, according to data released by the Finance Ministry. The state received 91 billion crowns in value added tax, down 6.8 billion crowns year-on-year. On the other hand, the state collected slightly more on corporate income tax, a total of 41.6 billion crowns.
