Facebook censors Czech town over František Drtikol nudes

The northern Bohemian town of Trutnov had its official Facebook page blocked by the recently renamed Meta company after posting a notice about a photo exhibition by František Drtikol.

Drtikol, an internationally renowned artist, was the first Czech photographer to produce nudes, in the years 1907–1910. Trutnov, which used one such black-and-white work to promote the exhibition, denounced Facebook for censorship.
