You might have noticed a few Czech flags flying about the fifth of May and remembrance laurels hanging from various plaques around the city and you may have been wondering why. Well on 5th of May 1945 the Prague uprising began and so also the liberation of the Bohemian and Moravian lands and that’s what we’re going to talk about on this episode and remember the heroics of Czech, Brits, Russians but also Germans.
