Eurostat: Czechia’s unemployment rate remains lowest in EU

Czechia continues to have the lowest unemployment rate in the whole of the European Union, according to newly released data by the European statistics agency Eurostat.

The general level of unemployment in the EU stood at six percent in September, remaining at the August level. In the Eurozone the unemployment rate fell by a tenth of a percentage point to 6.6 percent.

In Czechia, unemployment rate dropped to 2.2 percent in September, compared to 2.4 percent in August. The country has had one of the lowest unemployment rates in the EU for several years now.
