‘Europe as a Task’ conference begins at Prague Castle

A two-day ‘Europe as a Task’ conference begins on Monday afternoon at Prague Castle, focusing on European competitiveness, support for Ukraine and European security, the enlargement of the European Union and the future of global trade. The event will be opened by President Petr Pavel, and the programme will continue on Tuesday at the Černín Palace, headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.

Among the keynote speakers are Special Advisor to the President of the European Commission and former Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and European Commissioner for Competition Teresa Ribera. The first panel will feature the European Commissioner for International Partnerships and former Minister of Industry and Trade Jozef Síkela.
