EU funds flow into Czech Republic

After accession to the European Union, the Czech Republic will be able to use support from the EU's cohesion and structural funds amounting to around 2.5 percent of Czech GDP. According to the Czech deputy minister for regional development, Cestmir Sajda, the EU requires countries to double the requested amount of money from its own resources to finance development projects and subsidies.
