The Czech Republic is to receive further assistance from the EU in fighting economic crime and corruption. Experts from Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium will train Czech police officers and state prosecutors in the most complicated areas of combating, investigating and prosecuting serious economic crime. A recent survey by PricewaterhouseCoopers has revealed that the Czech Republic ranks among the countries worst affected by corruption, as it placed third after Romania and Russia in Europe.
