EU approves fourth payment of €1.83 billion to Czechia from recovery fund

The European Commission has approved Czechia’s fourth payment request for €1.83 billion (CZK 45 billion) from the extraordinary recovery fund aimed at easing the impact of the economic crisis. The Commission announced this in a statement on Wednesday,

The fourth payment from the Recovery and Resilience Facility will focus on projects in digital transformation, environment, transport infrastructure, energy, and social sectors. Czechia is expected to receive the funds in September.
