Ester Ledecká named best Czech skier for fourth time
Skier and snowboarder Ester Ledecká has been recognised as the best Czech skier of the past season. It marks the fourth time that the 25-year-old from Prague, an Olympic gold medallist has topped the Czech Ski Association survey. Placing second was Eva Samková.
Ledecká won a Downhill World Cup race for the first time last winter, at Lake Louise. In the Snowboard World Cup, the double Olympic champion only completed two races, finishing first and second.
