Epidemic slowing, inoculation process gaining speed

The Czech Republic registered 3,238 new cases of Covid-19 on Thursday, approximately 2,000 less than on the same day last week. The reproduction number has also dropped for a second day in succession and now stands at 0.8. The risk index is at 56 points out of 100.

The number of people inoculated on Thursday was the highest since the start of vaccination in late December – at just over 68,000.
