Efforts to douse North Bohemian wildfire continue
Efforts to douse a wildfire that broke out last weekend at the Bohemian Switzerland National Park in North Bohemia continued on Sunday. Officials said that all available aircraft were being deployed to drop water onto the fire, which has been contained to one area. This includes six helicopters and five planes, which are using water from the Labe (Elbe) River in an effort to put out the fire completely.
During the week smoke from the fire could be smelled in Prague and other parts of Czechia.
