EC confirms Czech government's decision to ban HHC

The European Commission (EC) has confirmed the Czech government's decision regarding adding the psychoactive substances HHC, HHC-O and THCP to the list of substances banned in the country, the Ministry of Health has announced. The ban on the sale and possession of these substances will probably come into effect at the beginning of March. Possession of the substance will now mean a fine of up to CZK 15,000, with larger amounts also punishable by prison.

Since last summer, over 170 children and young people have ended up in hospital after overdosing on products containing HHC.
