Ebola has not been confirmed in patient at Bulovka

An American who had recently been in Africa was admitted to a Prague hospital on Friday evening with suspected infection by a highly dangerous disease. Due to contact with him, health authorities placed 26 people in preventive quarantine, which ended on Sunday morning.

However, infection with the Ebola virus or other causes of hemorrhagic fevers was not confirmed in the patient at Bulovka University Hospital, Health Minister Vlastimil Válek announced on X on Saturday evening.
