E15: KLM asks Czech online travel agency Kiwi.com to stop selling its tickets

Dutch airline KLM has sent Czech online travel agency Kiwi.com an open letter in which it requests that Kiwi.com stops selling its flight tickets, news site E15.cz reported on Wednesday.

The Czech travel agency is also facing a lawsuit from America’s Southwest Airlines for selling tickets on its flights without permission. Meanwhile, Russian airline Aeroflot has already cancelled its partnership with Kiwi.com and the budget airline Ryanair has issued a statement that it will not accept passengers who bought a ticket on their flight through the Czech website, E15.cz writes.

Kiwi.com has rejected criticism, saying that i tis primarily focused on helping customers and that the airlines‘ actions are a restriction on travel opportunities.
