Dvůr Králové animals get Halloween treats

A Week of Ghosts was held at the Dvůr Králové Safari Park in East Bohemia at the close of October that included pumpkin-based treats for the animals. Visitors carved and decorated about 10 tons of pumpkins, which served as playthings as well as new elements in the diets of elephants, orangutans and chimpanzees. Meerkats (pictured) were able to enjoy the worms placed inside their pumpkins.
