Dozens of people protest in Prague against spread of Russian culture in Czechia

Dozens of people protested in front of the Russian House in Prague on Tuesday evening against the spread of Russian culture in Czechia. The entrance to the premises was wrapped in police tape, and a red liquid symbolising the blood of the victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine was also poured in front of the building. The protest was organised by the Voice of Ukraine initiative, which demands the seizure of Russian property and its use in support of Ukraine.

People with Ukrainian flags gathered in front of the Russian House of Culture in Hradčany at 7:00 pm. Among them was Oleh Symoroz, a veteran of the war in Ukraine. In his speech, he emphasised that Ukraine is grateful to the Czech government for supporting it, but considers the tolerance of the Russian House in Prague at such a time illogical. The protest lasted less than an hour.
