Direct Prague-Taipei flights get underway

Direct flights between Prague and the Taiwanese capital Taipei began on Tuesday. The new China Airlines route from Václav Havel Airport Prague to Taoyuan International Airport is set to operate twice a week, departing from the Czech capital on Wednesdays and Sundays.

A representative of Prague Airport said it had been seeking to establish such a direct connection for several years.
