Diplomats secure Gaza evacuation of two relatives of Czech citizens

Czech diplomats succeeded in evacuating two relatives of Czech citizens from Gaza on Saturday, the Czech News Agency reported, citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two are in the care of the Czech consular team at the country’s embassy in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

On Thursday a Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson said it had information that seven Czech citizens and their three family members were seeking to be evacuated from Gaza.

Israel has been bombarding Gaza since a Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.
