Diplomacy Week kicks off in Prague, highlighting the work of career diplomats

Diplomacy Week, organized by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, aims to introduce students and the general public to the work and goals of career diplomats. More than 60 schools, dozens of embassies in Prague, Czech embassies abroad and partners from non-profit organisations have joined the first edition of the event, Daniel Drake, spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, told the Czech Press Agency. Czech and foreign career diplomats will visit high schools across the Czech Republic, students will visit selected embassies in Prague, and there will be public discussions at the Scout Institute and media appearances by diplomats," he said. Diplomacy Week will run until 28 March.
