Deputies approve CZK 5,000 bonus for pensioners 

The lower house of Parliament on Friday approved a proposal to give pensioners a one-off bonus of CZK 5,000, in view of higher living costs and additional expenses linked to the coronavirus crisis.

The sum is to be added to pensions in December. The bonus should cost the state CZK 15 billion altogether.

The proposal still has to be approved by the Senate and signed by the president.
