Defence ministry acquires new off-roads

The Ministry of Defence has signed a contract with the Czech company Glomex MS for the supply of up to 1,200 Toyota Hilux off-road vehicles, Jakub Fajnor from the ministry’s press department told the ctk news agency.

The army will pay 1.07 billion crowns for the delivery. The off-road vehicles are to replace the outdated UAZ 463 and Land Rover Defenders currently used.
