From December, rules for selling electronic cigarettes will become stricter
Starting in December, an amendment will tighten the rules for the sale and labeling of electronic cigarettes. Manufacturers will have seven months to sell off their stock. After that, it will no longer be possible to sell cigarettes with candy flavors or containing cannabinoids. This was stated to ČTK by Health Ministry spokesman Ondřej Jakob. According to a survey by the National Institute of Public Health (SZÚ), nearly 14 percent of the population used e-cigarettes last year, with the share almost tripling over the past five years. Among young people aged 15 to 24, more than a quarter use them.
