Czechs spent CZK 200 million on cryptocurrencies in July

Czechs spent around CZK 200 million on purchasing cryptocurrencies in July, more than twice as much as last year, according to data collected by the country’s leading Bitcoin sales website Bit.plus.

Since the start of the year, they have invested more than CZK 3.6 billion in various cryptocurrencies. The most significant interest among buyers is in Bitcoin, whose price surged by 250 percent in year-on-year terms.
