Czechs reach Ice Hockey World Championships final with win over Sweden

Czechia have reached the final of the Ice Hockey World Championships after a 7:3 win over Sweden in a semi-final clash at Prague’s O2 Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Dominik Kubalík and Lukáš Sedlák both scored twice for Czechia, with the latter named most valuable player, as the hosts delivered a convincing victory over the Swedes in front of an ecstatic home crowd.

The Czechs will play either Canada or Switzerland in the final on Sunday night.
