Czechs leaving Lebanon amid fears of full-blown war
Five Czech citizens residing in Lebanon were evacuated from the country on a Hungarian flight to Budapest on Wednesday, the ctk news agency reported. The Czech Foreign Ministry has advised Czech citizens to leave the country without delay amid growing fears of a full-blown war between Israel and the Lebanese group Hezbollah. Those still in the country are being advised to get on the next commercial flight out, for fear that the international airport in Beirut could be closed. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs there are currently 84 Czechs in Lebanon registered in the Drozd travel system.
