Czechs knocked out of ice hockey World Juniors by Canada
The Czech Republic have been knocked out of ice hockey’s World Junior Championships in Edmonton. The Czechs were beaten 3:0 by the hosts Canada, who are defending champions, at the quarter-final stage of the competition on Saturday night. The Canadians were 2:0 up by the end of the first period and scored their third goal during a Czech power play at the end of the game.
