Czechs in the EU
This year's European Parliament elections coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Czechia’s accession to the European Union. How active have Czechs been in the EU? Which personalities have left their mark on the European scene? How did we cope with the task of presiding over the EU? How successful are we in promoting Czech interests in the alliance?
Those are some of the questions we put to Viktor Daňek, Deputy Director of the EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy and Czech Radio’s former correspondent in Brussels.
