Czechs have donated at least 3.4 billion crowns in aid of Ukraine since the war started. Around a third of the total amount was sent to the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague for the purchase of military equipment for the Ukrainian army and the Home Guard, the Czech News Agency reported citing data provided by NGOs which organized the collections. The bulk of the money has already been used by the embassy. Approximately 100 million crowns remain in the account, the Ukrainian Embassy in Prague told the Czech News Agency. The Czech Defense Ministry has sent military aid worth nearly 1 billion crowns ($45 million) to Ukraine since the war broke out.
