Czechs beat Swiss in Nations League campaign opener

The Czech Republic beat Switzerland 2:1 in their opening football Nations League Group A2 game in Prague on Thursday evening. Jan Kuchta opened the scoring for the hosts after 11 minutes. Noah Okafor equalised for the Swiss just before half-time but Djibril Sow scored an own goal on 58 minutes to give the Czechs all three points.

The Czech Republic welcome Spain on Sunday before away games against Portugal and Spain.

The Spanish and Portuguese drew 1:1 on Thursday, leaving the Czechs top of the group after the first games.
