Czechs beat Scotland 2:0 at Euros with brace from Schick
The Czech Republic have won their opening game at the European Football Championship, beating Scotland 2:0 at Hampden Park in Glasgow. Both of the Czechs’ goals came from striker Patrik Schick, with the second a spectacular long-range effort from just past the half-way line. Among the visitors’ other key performers was goalkeeper Tomáš Vaclík.
The Czech Republic’s next game in the competition is against Croatia on Friday, while they play England in their final game next Tuesday.
