Czechia’s third largest lottery jackpot drawn on Sunday

The Czech Republic’s third largest jackpot has been drawn in the nation-wide jackpot Sportka. On Sunday, a lucky winner won over CZK 250 million, which is around 11 million US dollars. The winner will have to pay over CZK 37 million in tax.

The company doesn’t yet know when and where the bet was placed. So far the highest sum in Sportka’s history, nearly CZK 400 million, was won in 2013.
