Czechia trains 18 Ukrainian pilots

The Czech Republic has trained 18 Ukrainian pilots, who earned commercial pilot licenses that meet European Union standards, the Czech Foreign Ministry announced on Thursday. These licenses entitle them to work as professional pilots not only across the European Union, but also in Ukraine and most other countries worldwide.

The project was made possible through cooperation between academic institutions, private entities, and three government ministries. The total budget reached CZK 22 million, with CZK 15 million provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, CZK 5 million from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and CZK 2 million from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
