Czech unemployment falls to 4.8% in May
The unemployment rate in the Czech Republic fell by 0.1 percentage points to 4.8 percent in May, driven by seasonal work and continued economic recovery, according to the Czech Labour Office.
Labour offices registered 358,852 job seekers, down 5,620 from April. The number of available vacancies declined slightly month-on-month by 103 to 94,380.
In May last year, the unemployment rate stood at 4.2 percent.
