Czech tennis star Petra Kvitová to retire after 2025 season
Petra Kvitová, two-time Wimbledon champion, will retire from professional tennis at the end of the 2025 season. The 35-year-old, who returned to the court this year after maternity leave, announced on social networks that her final tournament will be the US Open in New York in late August and early September. The winner of 31 WTA titles is also set to appear at Wimbledon this summer, having received a wild card entry for the prestigious grass-court Grand Slam at the All England Club.
