Czech Telecom under fire (again)

And staying with the telecom, and five Czech fixed-line operators have submitted a complaint to the Czech Anti-Monopoly Authority because of the new tariff structure of the dominant operator, Czech Telecom. As of February, Czech Telecom introduced new tariff packages with higher monthly subscription fees but including a certain amount of free calling. Another fact they criticise is that the cheapest tariff package does not allow for call-by-call carrier selection, a feature Czech Telecom is obliged to enable by July this year in order to open the market for competition. The alternative operators see these limitations as a heavy blow to competition before the market is fully liberalised at the end of this year.
