Czech scientists develop method of detecting forgeries of artistic photographs

The Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague has developed a reliable method that will enable the identification of forgeries of artistic photographs. The team of researchers developed procedures for verifying original prints using a hyperspectral camera and subsequent image processing. The university made the announcement in a press release on Thursday describing it as a groundbreaking method in the fight against forgeries.
