Czech researchers testing psiloybe mushroom on patients with depression

After a promising international study on the treatment of depression with a drug made from the psilocybe mushroom, scientists from the National Institute of Mental Health are launching a further study and are looking for volunteers. This particular species of mushroom is known for its psychedelic properties. Experts have so far investigated the optimal dosage and possible side effects, and according to the results, some of the patients experienced an improvement in their depression symptoms even 12 weeks after taking the substance.
