Czech rescue workers find 12 further casualties of Turkey earthquake
On Friday, Czech rescue workers in the Turkish city of Adiyaman found 12 further casualties from the earthquake that hit Turkey earlier this week. In total, the Czech rescue team has recovered 32 bodies and two survivors during their work there, as well as assisting in saving one woman out of the rubble, the Czech News Agency reports, citing firefighter’s spokesman Jakub Kozák.
Turkey has so far registered 20,665 casualties of the earthquake that took place on Monday, with Syrian authorities reporting a further 3,553 dead.
